  1. Indications for Use.

The medication can be used as prevention and treatment of depressive conditions of different origins and various manifestation degrees, as well as panic disorders and phobias.

The usual efficient dose for treatment with Fluvoxamine is 100-300mg. Doses of 150mg or less can be taken as single-shot dose in the evening, while doses higher than 150mg should be divided into several intakes taken during the day.
For treatment of teenagers and children at age above 8 years use doses of 25mg per day, which should be taken in one intake. The dose for supporting treatment can be from 50 to 200mg per day. The daily dose, which is more than 100mg should be divided into several intakes.
When the medication gives good effect, the therapy should be carried on at the dose, chosen individually. If there is no improvement after 10 weeks of treatment, it is recommended to cancel treatment with Fluvoxamine. Selection of the dose should be done individually with caution, for supporting treatment it is better to choose the minimal efficient dose.

When using Fluvoxamine for treatment of patients with failure of kidney or liver, the treatment should start with lower doses and should be done under strict medical control.
