Generic Lotrel is used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension). It is usually given after other blood pressure medications have been tried without successful treatment.
Norvasc is indicated for the relief of the symptoms of high-blood pressure. It eases chest pain, particularly that associated with angina and is able to actively treat blocked arteries. In the elderly it is known to decrease risk of strokes and heart attacks.
