- Indications for Use.
Used for treatment of aenia solium (pig�s tapeworm), as well as in larval form.
Can be used for treatment of echinococcosis of abdominal membrane and lungs, caused by Echinococcus granulosus (dog’s tapeworm in larval form).
Human helminthosis caused by nematodes (parasitic threadworms).
Disease of ascariasis caused by the introduction of ascarides infection, as well as worms parasitic in the body of a man (аscaris lumbricoides).
Trichocephaliasis is a helmonthosis disease, caused by whioworms parasiting. ,
Ankylostoma duodenale (ankylostomas), hookworms and (Necator americanus), which are round helminths from 5 to 12 mm long and 0,5 mm wide.
Enterobiasis is an illness, caused by pinworms (small parasitic worms).
Strongyloidosis activates Strongyloides stercoralis (tropical diarrhea), chronic helminthosis and diclinous round worms.

- Action
Albendazole is a medication used for treatment of worms. It works by causing paralysis of parasites, thus causing their death. The medication has moderate toxicity for humans and is well-endured. At the beginning of treatment there might be a worsening of general condition of a patient�s health, which should be improved after some time of treatment therapy and the patient�s body should be cleaned from helmiths.
- Phonology and Administration

The maximum allowed dose per day is 800 mg; in treatment of echinococcus - take medication in 3 cycles for 28 days each cycle, with an interval of 14 days.
In cases of Lamblia Intestinalis Jiardia (lambliosis) in treatment of children the medication should be taken basing on 10-15 mg per 1 kg of weight once a day for a period of 5-7 days.
In treatment of Toxocara canis (toxocarosis) for adults and children above age of 14 years and with body mass above 60 kg the medication should be taken in one-shot of 400 mg; if the weight of body is lower than 60 kg then take 200 mg, for treatment of children under 14 years of age the dose should be defined on the basis of 10 mg per 1 kg. Factor of repetition is 2 times per day, and the length of therapy is 7-14 days.
The medication should be taken with meal. All members of a family should undergo treatment simultaneously.
- Counterindications
Periods of pregnancy and lactation, elevated sensitivity to the components, childhood (under the age of 6 years the safety of use was not determined), suppression of the formation of marrowy blood, failure of liver, cirrhosis of liver, pathology of retina.
