5. Posology and Administration

There is no precise information about the start of treatment with Didanosine. Didanosine medication needs individual approach for treatment.
The medication has to be taken on empty stomach orally. For treatment of adult patients it should be taken once in 12 hours. In the body mass of a patient is lower than 60kg, it should be used in dose of 125mg of tablet or 167mg of powder. 60-74kg � 200mg of tablets and 250mg of powder. If weight of a patient is above 75kg, he should take 300mg of tablets and 375mg of powder.

6. Counterindications

10. Side Effects

Most common side effects for use of Didanosine are headaches, diarrhea, rash and vomiting.

11. Pregnancy and Lactation

Didanosine is not recommended for use in the period of pregnancy and in toxemia of pregnancy. It is not recommended to breast-feed in the process of treatment with Didanosine.
