Hydroxyzine is used for treatment of rashes and itching of skin, caused by allergic reactions, as well as for cancellation syndrome arresting, qualms and nausea. The medication has the effect of sleeping pill, therefore is often sold over-the-counter as a favorable sleeping drug. If a patient needs treatment of sleeping disorders, an antihistamine medication, such as Hydroxyzine, is much more favorable than prescription medications for sleeping disorders, as they are usually habit-forming, and more preferable than benzodiazepine group tranquillizers, such as medications for sleep like chlozepidum, diazepam and flurazepam.
