- Indications for Use.
Used for treatment of infectious-inflammatory illnesses, which were caused by miscroorganisms, that are sensitive to Ceclor medication, such as: infections of urinary tracts, diseases of upper and lower aerodigestive tracts, like pneumonia, infections of soft tissues and skin, media otitis, sinusitis, infections of junctions and bones (such as osteomyelitis), gonorrhea, endometritis.
- Action
The medication has an antibacterial pharmacologic performance and works as a bactericide remedy and as a pluripotential antibacterial medication.
- Posology and Administration
Administration and posology should be defined individually, depending of severity of disease, sensitivity to the active ingredient of medication and localization of infection.
If taken orally for treatment of adult and adolescent patients, it is recommended to take the dose of 0.25-0.5g 3 times a day. For treatment of gonorrhea, take 3g in one shot. If it is necessary, the daily dose can be increased up to 4 grams. It is not determined, what dose to use for treatment of infants under the age of 1 month, and for treatment of children from the age of 1 month and older, it is recommended to use 6.7=13.4mg per 1kg of body mass once every 8 hours, or take 10-20mg per 1kg two times in 24 hours. The highest allowed daily dose is 40mg per 1kg, but it should not exceed 1-1.5g per day. It is advised to use suspension for treatment of little children. Tablets can be taken either with food or during one hour following a meal. The treatment should be around 7-10 days long.
- Counterindications
Be careful if you are hypersensitive to antibiotics. The medication should be administered with caution for treatment of patients with chronic failure of kidney, hemorrhagic syndrome, leucopenia, for pregnant and breast-feeding patients, and for treatment of children under the age of 1 month.

The drug should be taken with caution for treatment of patients, who have serious dysfunctions of kidney. Patients who have allergic reactions in the anamnesis on penicilins are likely to be hypersensitive to the antibiotics of cephalosporin.

Side effects on genitourinary system and excretory system: renal dysfunctions, vaginitis.
Side effects on intestinal system: constipations, dysorexia, diarrhea, vomiting, nausea, stomach pains, yellow sickness, hepatitis.
Other side effects: dysfunction of formations of bloodas a result of the composition of blood, high perspiration and superinfection.

Pregnancy and Lactation
It is only allowed to use Cefaclor in the period of pregnancy, if the suppored favorable outcome for the mother is more significant that the potential risks of harming the fetus.
If treatment is necessary during lactation, it is recommended to discontinue breast-feeding.
