3. Indications for Use.
Used for treatment of symptoms of adenoma of prostate (benign hyperplasia of prostate gland).
4. Action
Works by selectively blocking alpha1A-adrenoreceptors in the prostatic gland smooth muscles, as well as in the urinary bladder neck and urethra�s prostatic part. As a result Flomax gives relaxation to the smooth muscles and the tonus of the abovementioned lumps, as well as it facilitates the urine outflow.
