3. Indications for Use.
Used for treatment of allergic seasonal and vasomotor rhinitis, hay fever (pollinosis), hives and angioedema.
4. Action
The medication acts anti-allergically and anti-inflammatory, and has registered positive effect on the epidermal allergens (toxicoallergic sores). If shows positive effect already after one hour of use.
Fexofenadine medication does not have negative effect on the cardio-vascular system and comes out of human body via functioning of kidney.
5. Posology and Administration
The drug is administered orally. Adults and children older than 12 years of age, as well as those suffering from hay fever and allergic rhinitis, should take daily dose of 180mg in a single intake. No need for correction of dose in elderly patients.
Children at the age of 6 to 11 years old, who have allergic rhinitis or hay fever should take two doses per day of 30mg each.
Patients, who have chronic failure of kidney should take a single-time dose of 30mg.
6. Counterindications
If hypersensitive to drug components, if in the period of lactation or pregnancy, in early childhood age (the effect on children under 6 years old has not yet been defined). People having chronic disease of kidney should be cautious when taking Fexofenadine. Fexofenadine is not recommended for treatment during lactatin or pregnancy periods, as the medication is excreted in breast-milk.

9. Overdosing
