5. Posology and Administration
Medication should be taken orally, with capsules swallowed wholly, without crushing them or chewing.
In the period of attack of duodenal ulcers take 30mg per day dividing in 2-4 intakes (in severe cases it is allowed to take 60mg per day).
For treatment of attacks of stomach ulcers wand esophagitis of erosive ulcers take 30-60mg per day for a period of 4-8 weeks.
For treatment of erosive ulcer distortions, caused by NSAIDs take 30mg per day for 4-8 weeks.
For removal of Helicobacter pylori take 30 mg 2 times a day for 10-14 days combining it with antibacterial agents.
Anti-recurrent stomach treatment and treatment of duodenal ulcer — 30 mg per day.
Treatment of reflux-esophagitis in anti-recurrent stage take — 30 mg per day for a long-term (up to half a year).
IN treatment of syndrome of Zollinger-Ellison the dose needs to be defined individually, depending on the basal secrecy level and should be taken until it reaches the level of less than10 mmol/hour.
6. Counterindications
— pregnancy of 1st trimester;
— malign neoformations in intestines;
— under 18 years of age;
— period of lactation;
— hyper sensitivity to the ingredients of the medication.
The medication should be taken with caution in case of having kidney of liver failure of functioning, as well as during the second and third trimester of pregnancy and for treatment of elderly patients.
