Atomoxetine has to be taken orally either with or without a meal. The medication can be taken both with meal or in the morning as single-shot. If in case of single-shot use of Atomoxetine patient develops adverse side effects, he should start taking medication in two intakes per day, dividing the dose for intake in the morning and in the late day (or early evening).
It is not needed to slowly increase the dose in order to withdraw the medication.

Any surface of skin, which had contact with the medication should be rinsed well, including hands.

Symptoms of getting overdosed include: agitation, drowsiness, hyperactivity, dilatation of pupils, disorder of behavior and disorder of gastric-intestinal tract, tachycardia, convulsions, dry mouth, lethal outcome.

Awakening early in the morning, dizziness, insomnia, drowsiness, irritation, dilatation of pupils, emotional instability; tachycardia, heartbeat; vomiting, stomach pains, abdominal swelling, lowering of weight of body, up to anorexia; elevated perspiration, itching, dermatitis, rash, hives, angioedema; lower level of libido, difficult urination, retention of urine, amorgasmic states, erection and ejaculation disorders, prostatitis; flue, fatigability.

11. Pregnancy and Lactation

Atomoxetine proved to be insufficient in clinical practice, when was used for treatment of pregnant women, therefore the medication is only used for treatment of pregnant patients, when the expected positive outcome is more important the possibility of harming the development of fetus.
It is unknown, if Atomoxetine is excreted into milk of mother. It is recommended to use medication with caution for treatment of breast-feeding mothers.
